In chapter four of Deuteronomy, Moses gives three major instructions from his heart to these people he has led.  If he were limited to three instructions, this chapter would sum up all he would say to these people he had led for nearly 40 years.

August 17 - Obey God (Deut. 4:1-14)

He begins with telling them to obey God and his laws without wavering.  This sermon will teach about one of the most important parts of being a Christ follower – obedience.

August 24 - Be faithful to God only (Deut. 4:15-31)

The second word from Moses is a recurring warning in Deuteronomy for them not to follow other gods.  He knew this would be the temptation and challenge for them throughout their history and he challenges them to be faithful to the one true God.

August 31 - Chosen (Deut. 4:32-40)

In verse 34 of this passage, Moses calls to the people’s attention that they are unlike any other nation in that God had set them apart.  He had called them out and made them holy and so he encourages us and them to be holy.
