The dominant thoughts from the language of Luke’s gospel are these: “save” and “salvation”, “King” and “Kingdom”, and the idea of “following.” Beginning with how Christ came into the world and ending with His victorious departure, Luke uses the teachings, miracles, and parables of Jesus’ life so that His followers may “know the certainty of the things they have been taught.” We will also note the various locations for the ministry of Christ: along the way, in the temple, and at the table. To this end we will study Luke for a year. Click here for online sermons. | |
